Center-fussed Colored Topaz CENTER-FUSSED COLORED TOPAZ IS NEW TREATMENT TO ENHANCE THE COLOR OF THE TOPAZ INTO ALL THE COLORS. WHAT YOU SEE IN TODAYS MARKET IS THREE TYPES OF COLOR TREATED TOPAZ. (1) IRRADIATION TOPAZ,  (2) DIFFUSION TOPAZ, (3) VAPOR COLOR COATED TOPAZ (MYSTIC TOPAZ).  

(1) IRRADIATION TOPAZ ( COME'S only in BLUE ) Today's market you see (a) London Blue Topaz (b) Swiss Blue Topaz (c) Sky Blue Topaz. All these colors are achieved (enhanced) by irradiation treatment. Further you find hundreds of thousand of irradiated topaz been sold illegaly without checking the irradiation level, which will cause harm to the skin (skin cancer ). some people are at risk buying them, even a Jeweler can not tell the irradiation level of a stone which is sold in the Market. Further you can not have choice of colors on this treatment, accept London Blue, Swiss Blue & Sky Blue.

(2) VAPOR COLOR COATED TOPAZ ( such as Mystic-Topaz ) In this method of color enhanced topaz you find in the Market in many colors at cheap price..., but color is not permanent and no gaurantee will be given to the color as color will wipes away or fade away if stones are cleaned in cleaning Agents (Chemicals), further color tend to loose or fade away by the heat of Jewelers torch while setting the stones on Moutings. Just in case if you wanted to re-polish or repair the color coated topaz, the color will vanish on the topaz and it will turn into   a colorless stone. If you are looking to buy at cheap price..., you will end-up with a cheap stones treated in cheap method, without no life gaurantee to the color. Down the road stone will tend to loose color (fade).

(3) DIFFUSION TOPAZ ( come's on Blue & Green )    You could find diffusion Topaz (Green / Blue ) widely in the Market at cheap price, poorly cut stones & poorly color treated. Color of the topaz been coated just on the surface of the stone in thin layer (Microb). Just in case if you have to re-polish or repair the stone.., you will end-up with a white topaz (without color). 99% of the Diffusion Topaz cut poorly and sold cheap. You can not find many colors like mystic-topaz ( vapor color coated topaz ) in diffusion topaz.
